- Build a fort in your living room with blankets: Roast mini marshmallows over a candle ( these can actually get pretty hot!) Use teddy grams and small chocolate chips to make mini smores. Play games or watch a movie in your fun fort!

- Plastic cup mini golf: Go to a building in the evening such as a campus building, church etc. Set up a golf course with plastic cups then start at the beginning and golf. (can get really cheap clubs at DI) A fun date to get to know each other.

- Put together a puzzle: You can find cheap ones at the dollar store, or go all out and get a 10,000. 3-D puzzles are fun too! Put a movie on in the background or just talk. Have a bowl of mms or your favorite munchies to munch on while putting together your puzzle.
- Go to the library and pick out some fascinating picture books on topics that interest you such as travel,animal, national geographic, etc. This is bound to spark a good conversation.
- Create a Build-A-Bear together ( usually located in a mall): Mix your personalities when creating the bear.
- Art date: Finger paint, play with playdough, color with crayons or markers in a coloring books or make your own pictures. - Blast from the past: Pull out your old school yearbooks. This date becomes really fun when you try to guess each others age in the picture. Talk about funny school stories. - Have a karaoke night: Many restaurants or other venues have a night of the week dedicated to karaoke. If you don't want this, have your own! You can make this humerous by having people sing in different accents, really fast, really slow, or other stipulations etc. Make it a funny and relaxed, not an intimidating time where your date feels like they have to show off their singing skills.
- Go to a gym together: Depending on the gym there are a variety of activities offered such as court sports like basketball, racquetball, wallyball, zumba, areobic dancing, swimming, hot tubbing, rock-climbing, and working out. If you need a membership and don't have one, tell them you are looking to try out the gym. Most gyms will usually give you a free week pass to come and try anything out in the gym.

- Homemade pizza: This is really easy. You can buy dry packages of pizza crust mix at Walmart for a dollar. Get the rest of ingredients and have fun forming and shaping your pizza just the way you like it.
- Cake decorating competition: Make two teams. Choose the type of cake you want to make. Have food coloring and each team can mix their own frosting colors. Have tools to decorate with. Put frosting in sandwich bag and cut a tiny hole in the corner. Squeeze slowly to get a decor effect.
- Pick and exotic recipe that you think looks cool or sounds good that you have never tried and make it. Don't limit this to dinner. Deserts can be fun to! The experimentation makes it a fun date.
- Have a scone night. Mmm mmm good.
- Go to and indoor iceskating or rollerblading rink.
